On you Facebook page you can set up a book now button to allow people to book directly. 86% patients want to be able to see availability and book online, so this is a good chance not to miss out on potentialy clients.

Here is how to set up your Facebook page:

  1. Login to SIF Health
  2. Head into 'Templates & Links' in the main menu
  3. Select 'Booking links'
  4. In the main part of the page, select 'Add new'
  5. Under 'Domain' add your business name or website name
    - This should closely match your website e.g. exampletherapyclinic
  6. Under 'Redirect Success Page' add the website/ Facebook page that you would like the client to return to after the booking has been completed e.g. 'www.exampletherapyclinic.co.uk/home'
  7. Under 'Particulars', select the correct location if more than one
  8. If you have more than one specialist, you can either select a booking link per specialist by selecting the specialist under 'specialist', or you can show all specialists by not selecting anything
  9. Under 'Theming' you can upload your logo. This will show at the top of the booking link (well worth doing to personalise the booking link further)
  10. Then select your branding colours. We recommend the 'Primary & Secondary colours' being your main brand colour e.g. blue, and then the 'Primary & Secondary Text Colours' being either black or white.
  11. Click 'Save'
  12. Finally, click 'Get Code' and copy the link that starts with https:// and head back into Facebook
  13. Select Edit or Add A Button
  14. Choose Contact Us or Shop Now
  15. Paste the URL copied in step 12 or the URL of your booking system
  16. Select Save
  17. Return to your Facebook page and you should now see the button.

NB A key tip is to set your facebook messenger to have an auto response that says "Thank you for your message. If you're messaging me about availability please click the book now button on my profile to see live availability and be able to book in.  If it's about anything else I'll respond as soon as I can" .  This saves you the time of responding to a raft of messages that people can easily find the answers to and helps patients realise the value of using the online booking system.
