Undertaking this action allows SIF Health to obtain a feed to your Google calendar, meaning it can read the entries and display them in your SIF Health calendar, blocking out times that you are busy. This time will show as 'busy' to customers looking for appointments.

  1. Login to your SIF Health account
  2. Select ‘Business’ from the menu on the left then ‘Calendar’
  3. Select ‘Connected Calendars’ button at the top
  4. Under ‘Your Remote Calendars’ enter the name of the calendar you wish to add and then obtain the URL via the following means…
  5. On your computer, sign in to https://calendar.google.com
  6. In the top right, click the Settings cog and then Settings
  7. Under Settings for my calendars, click your calendar and Share with specific people or groups.
  8. Copy the link from “Public address in iCal format” – it ends in “.ics”. Highlight the link and copy it/press CTRL+c.
  9. Paste that link into SIF (see previous steps).
  10. N.B. You can see it's the correct URL if it ends with the following: basic.ics

We request the data every minute from your Google calendar to ensure the data is as up to date as possible. Google calendars on Android phones do not allow you to subscribe to additional calendars so at present it is not possible to automatically add SIF Health  bookings in to a Google calendar.

You are however sent email confirmations for new SIF Health bookings and SMS if you opt to receive them. Your SIF Health  calendar will always be the most up to date record.

Please note it can take up to 24 hours for the first sync to happen. You may need to log out then log back in.
